DIY Coconut Sugar Scrub
This time of year is probably pretty hectic by now, with only about a couple of weeks before Christmas. This is also the time of year that self-care is so important. I don't know about you but here in MN the winter really, REALLY dries my skin out. Yes, you can go to the beauty counter and spend hundreds of dollars on facial serums, masks, moisturizers, and gels but this easy to make recipe you can do right at home using the simplest ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen and it works wonders!

This sugar scrub helps to slough off all that dead and dry, itchy skin and I think the coconut oil really helps to put the moisture back in!
Here's what you'll need:

Directions:
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup coconut sugar
4 Tbs. honey
4 Tsp. lavender or jojoba oil (optional)
I melt the coconut oil down a bit so that it becomes easier to mix into the sugar.
Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and scoop into your jars.
*This yields two 7.4 oz. jars like these

I like to gift these for the Holidays as well. Helping to spread that hygge feeling!

Using simple natural twin and fresh cuttings from outside they become pretty little gifts, you can even add a little spoon or wood spread like this one here.
This season is all about creating that hygge feeling and ts easy to make sugar scrub will be sure to help you along the way.
Happy Holidays!
Lea
