DIY Orange Slice Garland

This is a simple and quick DIY on how you can make a dried orange slice garland that's perfect from Fall to Winter.

I used two oranges for this garland that measures over 7 feet long.

Slice oranges about 1/4" thick.

Place the slices on parchment paper and lay on your baking sheet and bake on 250 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30-40 minutes and flipping over for another 30-40 minutes.

Once you take them out, I place my slices on a cooling rack to dry out further.

Then using a toothpick I punch through the orange segments.

Here I used a natural twine but I've used bakers twine/string in the past too.

This year I weaved my orange slice garland into this garland but it looks pretty on its own as well.

Here's what to do:

  • Slice oranges about 1/4 inches thin

  • Place on parchment paper on a baking sheet

  • Bake on 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes and then flip and bake for another 30-40 minutes

  • Place on a cooling rack for 30 minutes

  • Using a toothpick punch holes into the orange segments to thread your twine or string

*Tip; tie off loops on each end of your garland to make it easy to hang

Happy Holidays!

Lea
